- Wait for the nozzle to stop at the front-left corner.
- Grown-up: squeeze the lever on the extruder and pull the old plastic out.
- Push the new color in until it comes out of the nozzle clean.
- Grown-up: pull the little blob off the nozzle with tweezers (it's hot!).

βοΈ Advanced Print Options
While this is open, Quality only sets the layer height, and these options decide the rest (and the print time). Closed: the Basic Supports and Sticky brim above are used. π Learn more
1 = lightest and fastest (only from the bed, only the flattest spots). 3 = for big parts. 5 = strongest, for a print that failed. Remembered for this item. After slicing, π See print layers & supports shows where they go.
Every layer starts and stops somewhere, so the seam can be hidden or spread out, but never removed completely.
Fill is the inside of the print. More fill = stronger and heavier, but slower and more plastic. 100% = solid (lines). One part needs more? Set its 𧱠Fill in the π οΈ Workshop.
Walls are the outside lines of the print. More walls = a thicker, stronger outside (good for screws and things that get used a lot), but slower and more plastic. One part needs more? Set its 𧱠Walls in the π οΈ Workshop.
The hot nozzle passes over flat tops once more to make them smooth. Adds some time.
The printer stops at each spool's first layer so a grown-up can swap the plastic, then keeps going. Works with π¨οΈ Print now, or from the SD card if the printer supports M600.
π₯ So the colors stick together
Recommended: nozzle +5 Β°C, bed +8 Β°C. Too hot can make the bottom soften and bulge out; it never goes above the plastic's safe limit.
β¨ Showpiece prints very thin layers slowly, so the lines are hard to see. For the smoothest look, also turn on "Hide the seam" and "Smooth flat tops".
ποΈ First layer and fan
These are remembered for each printer (also used when Advanced is closed). The small fan on the side of the nozzle always spins; this controls the part-cooling fan.
